As of now, you are completely familiar with each band score description, you can relate it with each IELTS exam module- Speaking, Reading, Writing & Listening. Each section of the IELTS exam is scored separately and your overall IELTS exam score will be calculated on the basis of the average score of all modules.
For example, let’s say your IELTS results are:
Speaking- 7
Listening- 8
Reading- 6Writing- 7
Then your total band score would be (7+8+6+7) ÷ 4= Band 7.
