Listening 

The IELTS listening test consists of 40 questions and is divided into four parts. You have to cover this section within 30 minutes. Reading

Writing 

The IELTS Academic writing test includes two sections that you have to cover in under 60 minutes. The topics are general and are suitable for both undergraduate and post-graduate.

Task 1 

Students have to write a short essay of a minimum of 250 words. In your essay, you have to present a chart, table, graph, and diagram with detailed information. 

Task 2 

In task 2 you have to present an essay in a formal style. Examiner will be asked to write an essay in response to a point of view, problem, or argument. 

General Training Version 

In this general training version, you have to cover two tasks that are related to the general interest. 

Task 1 

Candidates have to write a letter that is clearly described the situation. The letter may be in formal style or semi-formal or personal. 

Task 2 

Here students have to write an essay in response to a point of view, problem, or argument. Make sure that you write your essay in a personal style than the academic writing task 2 essay. 

Speaking 

The speaking skills test will take 11 to 14 minutes and students have to prepare for a face-to-face interview. On this task, the examiner checks the candidate's capability, and whether they can communicate excellent where they have applied for. The speaking skills test consists of three parts:- 

Speaking Format In this section, the examiner will give you simple questions regarding your family and you have to speak very confidently
Timing 11-14 minutes
Marks It depends upon your performance

Task 1 

On this task, the examiner will introduce himself and ask you to introduce yourself to confirm your identity such as home, family, career, study, hobbies, etc. After this, the examiner will ask you general questions so that you can relax and talk naturally. This session ends between 4 to 5 minutes. 

Task2 

Here the examiner will give you a task card and you have to talk about a particular topic. For this, the examiner will give you one minute to prepare before speaking for up to two minutes. Now the examiner will ask you one or two questions on the given topic so that your task will be finished. Keep talking about your thoughts and ideas on the same topic without any interface. 

Task 3 

The examiner will ask you a few more questions related to the topic in Part 2 and this part ends between 4 to 5 minutes. This is an opportunity to talk about issues and ideas in detail.
