There are two types of student visas that are offered by the Finland government
Usually the first type of visa is applied by those students who want to engage in some short term courses or to attend any special project or seminar in some university. Also, if you are thinking of engaging in some diploma course certificate, you need to apply for short term visa only.
Yes, working is allowed on a Finland student visa if your work is related to your studies. Then only you can carry out your work. However, there are some conditions too.
In order to get admission in Finnish universities, you must be able to prove your proficiency in the English language. So, in Finnish universities, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) tests are accepted as proof of this proficiency. However, the Pearson Test of English (PTE), Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) are also accepted to study in Finland.
Required score in IELTS academic to study in Finland universities is 6.0 to 6.5 and the points required in TOEFL test are 79 to 92.

You don’t particularly require IELTS or TOEFL scores if you have met any of the following conditions:-
You are a native speaker of English.
If you have a previous academic degree in English of EU, EEA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or USA.
Also if part of that academic degree was taught in English at Finnish universities or universities of applied sciences.
1. Research for the courses and universities where a student wants to apply. You can research for it thoroughly as per your choice. You can also compare the tuition fees of different universities.

2. Download the application form and attach the documents within along with filling of form. Pay the necessary charges of form.

3. Next step is interview. Once your application get shortlisted, you will be asked for any video or skype interview. You will be supposed to answer them in English Language only.
4. Then after the selection process, you will be asked to pay the annual fee along with the charges of your accommodation and miscellaneous.
There are three different types of Finland work visas available for Indians.
It is a type of visa which allows a person to stay for up to 90 days. This visa is generally permitted to attend any seminars or conferences with the onboarding assistance too.
This permit is applied on some persons associated to your company including private entrepreneurs, partners and members of cooperatives.
This visa is of the most common type and permitted to expand businesses in Finland.
