How to calculate IELTS Exam Score?

Just calculate the average score of all the scores obtained in the four sections of IELTS namely Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. To calculate the mean of all four sections just sum up the score of each section and divide it by 4. If the average value is obtained in decimal then it is rounded off to the nearest whole number. For instance, if the average score is 6.25 then it is rounded off to 6.5 and if the average IELTS score is 6.75 then is rounded off to an overall 7 band score as it is the nearest whole number to 6.75. In this way, the final IELTS band score is obtained.
